FAQ

Questions about credits

Is this a subscription?

No. Credits are sold in one-time packs. Buy a pack when you need it — nothing renews automatically.

How are credits charged?

Credits depend on model, length and resolution, including two character sheets and video generation. Raindance Generator shows the total before you submit.

What happens if a generation fails?

Credits are reserved when you submit and only spent when your video is delivered. If a job fails for a technical reason, the reserved credits go back to your balance.

Do new accounts get free credits?

Yes. Sign in with Google and you get 300 free credits, once per account toward your first video. Free credits are valid for 30 days, and free credit spots are limited.

Do credits expire?

Purchased credits are valid for 12 months from the day you buy them; free sign-up credits for 30 days. We always spend the credits that expire soonest first, and you can see your next expiry date under your balance.

How do I sign in?

With your Google account — it’s the only sign-in option. No passwords to remember, and your credits stay tied to that account.

How long does a video take?

Most jobs take several minutes. Busy queues can add time.
